Pasadena Water and Power Receives Top Industry Award

Pasadena Water and Power (PWP) earned the top designation (RP3) from the American Public Power Association (APPA) for providing reliable and safe electric service.

The American Public Power Association recognized Pasadena Water and Power for achieving the Diamond RP3 designation, representing the top 5% of public power utilities across the United States. The RP3 recognizes public power utilities that demonstrate reliability, safety, workforce development, and system improvement. Criteria include sound business practices and a utility-wide commitment to safe and reliable delivery of electricity. This is the second time since 2014 that PWP has won the distinction

Varoojan Avedian, Acting Assistant General Manager of Power Delivery, said:
