Originally constructed in 1959, the Ross Booster Station plays a crucial role in pumping water from the Metropolitan Water District of Southern California’s interconnection to PWP’s Eagle Rock Reservoir.
Completed in January 2025, the upgrade involved replacing aging equipment and expanding the station’s flow capacity. These improvements aim to enhance system reliability and resilience, ensuring PWP can continue to provide dependable, high-quality water to the Pasadena community, even in the face of future challenges.
This project is part of PWP’s broader strategy to modernize its infrastructure and ensure that Pasadena residents receive the most efficient and sustainable service possible.
