The Pasadena Triathlon, Duathlon, and 5K event will take place this Saturday, March 8, from 7:30 am to 12:00 pm at the iconic Rose Bowl.

Now in its 19th year, the event promises a fun and competitive experience for athletes of all skill levels, including a reverse triathlon, kids’ triathlon, and a 5K fun run.
This family-friendly event welcomes a wide range of participants, from first-time triathletes to seasoned athletes looking to challenge their fitness. Whether you’re new to the sport, aiming to improve your performance, or testing your endurance, there’s a race category for everyone.
Participants and spectators should be prepared for heavy traffic around the Rose Bowl, as the event draws large crowds. Local residents are advised to avoid the area during the event.
Road Closures
The following road closures will be in effect from 7:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. on Saturday:
- Seco Street from West Drive to Rosemont Avenue
- Rosemont Avenue from Seco Street to Washington Boulevard
- Washington Boulevard from Rosemont Avenue to West Drive
- West Drive from Washington Boulevard to Seco Street
- Parkview Avenue from Yocum Street to Washington Boulevard
- Salvia Canyon Road from Linda Vista Avenue/Afton Street to West Drive
- Arroyo Boulevard from Westgate Street to Rosemont Avenue and East/West Extensions
Additionally, the Recreational Loop will be closed from 6:00 am to 1:00 pm.
