The Pasadena Rental Housing Board will host a workshop for tenants.
By News Desk
The workshop will be facilitated by Matthew Siegel, Esq. Siegel is an attorney with over 30 years of working with tenants and landlords for successful rent control implementation. Siegel served as a Berkeley Rent Stabilization Board Member and later staff attorney in the Berkeley Rent Control program. Siegel’s experience also includes providing rent control compliance workshops to landlords.
Participants can expect a discussion of topics including the rent roll back, legal rent increases, just cause, and relocation. While these workshops do not replace professional legal counsel on individual situations, they will provide free information from an attorney about compliance with the measure and general experiences. Spanish language interpretation will be provided for both online workshops. Space at both online workshops is limited. Participants must register.
