Praised by audiences and critics alike, (read Colorado Boulevard’s review), ha ha ha ha ha ha ha has become one of the most talked-about theatrical events of the season, celebrated for its joyful, unpredictable, and deeply human approach to life’s “problems.”
The idea for the new program was sparked during the October 15 performance, when an audience member pointed out that affordability in theater was a “problem” worth solving, perfectly echoing the show’s playful premise. In true Masli fashion, the Playhouse took the cue to heart.
Beginning immediately, 10 tickets per performance will be available at a flexible, pay-what-you-can price, opening the doors wider for the community to experience the laughter and connection that define Masli’s work.
In ha ha ha ha ha ha ha, Masli sets out to solve people’s problems, and maybe even win a Nobel Peace Prize, but somehow keeps winning comedy awards instead. With no script and no safety net, her solo show transforms audience challenges into surreal, side-splitting theater.
Following acclaimed runs in Edinburgh, Melbourne, New York, and Washington, D.C., Masli now brings her problem-solving mission to Pasadena as part of a Woolly Mammoth Theatre Company Touring Production.
Audiences can catch ha ha ha ha ha ha ha before its final curtain on November 9, and perhaps even solve a problem or two along the way.
