The Pasadena International Film Festival (PIFF) is back with more than 100 films spanning eight days, at Laemmle’s Playhouse 7 in Pasadena.

Rated in the top 100 (out of over 5000 film festivals worldwide, according to FilmFreeway,) PIFF has honored the likes of Martin Sheen, Doris Roberts, Jason Ritter, Tom Arnold, Melora Hardin, and Michael Gross, among others.

The festival presents independent cinema with film blocks ending with a moderator-hosted Q and A. In the evening, filmmakers, screenwriters, and passholders gather to network and celebrate over libations at the Lounge (at Lyd & Mo Photography Studio.) Panels take place at the historic Vroman’s Bookstore, and the eight-day event culminates at Old Pasadena’s “The Speakeasy” for the Great Gatsby Gala & Award Ceremony.
