The South Coast Air Quality Management District (AQMD) has extended a mandatory wood-burning ban for residents within the South Coast Air Basin.

The No-Burn rule prohibits the use of wood, pellets, and manufactured fire logs in all indoor and outdoor wood-burning devices.
The extension comes as changing weather patterns impact Pasadena, the Eaton Fire burn areas, and the San Gabriel Valley.
Forecasts call for mostly cloudy conditions on Monday, with patchy fog before 10:00 am. Skies are expected to gradually clear to mostly sunny, with highs near 73 degrees and light winds shifting to the south-southwest. Monday night will remain mostly cloudy, with lows around 51 degrees.
Rain chances increase beginning Tuesday, with a 30 percent chance of showers after 10:00 am. High temperatures are expected to reach near 66 degrees. Tuesday night will bring widespread showers, with a 90 percent chance of precipitation and overnight lows around 52 degrees.
Showers are forecast to continue through Wednesday, with periods of heavy rain possible. Highs will be near 60 degrees, with cloudy conditions persisting into Wednesday night.
Rain is expected to continue through Christmas Day and into the end of the week. High temperatures will range from the upper 50s to low 60s, with overnight lows generally in the upper 40s to low 50s. A chance of showers remains on Saturday, with partly sunny skies and a high near 59 degrees.
