A new Disaster Recovery Center (DRC) will officially open in Altadena on Monday, January 27, 2025, providing essential support services to individuals and families affected by recent fires in the region. The center will operate daily from 9:00 am to 8:00 pm at 540 West Woodbury Road, Altadena, CA 91001.

This new location is part of ongoing recovery efforts to assist those impacted by the disaster. The center will be available to fire survivors seven days a week, offering a wide range of services to help residents navigate the recovery process.
Both the Pasadena and Altadena Disaster Recovery Centers will remain open through the end of January. However, starting Saturday, February 1, 2025, all services will be consolidated at the new Altadena location, with the Pasadena site closing its doors.
A variety of local, state, and federal agencies will be available at the Altadena center to provide vital assistance. These include services from L.A. County departments such as Aging and Disabilities, Public Health, and Public Works, as well as state agencies like the Department of Motor Vehicles, the Department of Social Services, and the Franchise Tax Board. Additionally, federal agencies such as FEMA, the Small Business Administration, and the Social Security Administration will be on hand to aid with recovery efforts.
The Altadena Disaster Recovery Center is a crucial resource for residents seeking help with issues ranging from housing and health services to financial and legal support. With the expanded range of available agencies, community members are encouraged to visit the center to receive assistance as they work toward rebuilding their lives.
