MorningStar Senior Living announced the groundbreaking of a new Independent Living expansion next door to its established community at 951 South Fair Oaks Avenue.

The upcoming five-story 89,382-square-foot expansion, will be located on the corner of Arlington and South Fair Oaks, in Pasadena.It will deliver 76 spacious suites designed for Independent Living, with floor plans as large as 1,255 square feet. This modern development is set to create an inviting and vibrant environment, featuring a blend of indoor and outdoor dining venues, pool, spa and fitness center, as well as underground parking. Residents will also enjoy a Club Room terrace offering stunning views of the San Gabriel Mountains. The expansion will seamlessly connect to the existing Morningstar building at ground level, and is anticipated to open in Summer 2026.

Since taking over management of the Pasadena property in 2020, MorningStar has undertaken significant renovations, including the creation of a specialized memory care neighborhood. With these enhancements, MorningStar of Pasadena now offers 146 suites, providing a full spectrum of care options from independent to assisted living to specialized memory care.
