Monterey Park to Host 12th Annual Holiday Snow Village on December 4

The Recreation & Community Services Department is inviting the community to celebrate the season at the 12th Annual Holiday Snow Village on Thursday, December 4, 2025, from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Barnes Park (350 S. McPherrin Ave.).

This family-friendly event will transform the park into a winter wonderland, featuring a variety of free snow activities, festive entertainment, and the Monterey Park Farmers’ Market with food and artisan vendors. Attendees can enjoy snow sled runs, a snow play area, pictures with Santa, a trackless train, holiday crafts, and more.

While snow activities are free, registration is required and spaces are limited. Participants must register for a one-hour time slot to take part in the Snow Play and Sled Run areas. Each time slot will be identified by a designated wristband, allowing one hour of access to the snowy fun.

Registration opens Monday, November 3, 2025, with available time slots at 4:00 pm, 5:00 pm, 6:00 pm, and 7:00 pm. Wristbands can be picked up early at the Langley Center (400 W. Emerson Ave.) starting Monday, December 1, from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, or at the event’s Information Booth beginning at 4:00 pm on event day. Each person may register for one time slot only.

Guests are encouraged to dress warmly and wear closed-toed shoes for participation in snow areas.
