Monterey Park Rewards Program To End

The city of Monterey Park will end its shop local “Monterey Park Rewards” program on 12/31/23.

First instituted in November 2021 to encourage residents to patronize local businesses in the wake of the pandemic and to encourage and generate new local businesses.  The points garnered on the MPR app will be redeemable until the end of this month. The city encourages all residents and other locals who have remaining points available to use them this holiday season before the program officially ends.

Joseph Torres, Monterey Park Economic Development Manager, thanks all those businesses and patrons who made the program a success and urges them to remain accessible to the city and its development programs and officials.
