Commissions Received an Update on the Sustainability Plan
The Environmental Commission and Planning Commission held a joint meeting on September 27, 2023, to view a staff presentation on the Draft Sustainability Plan. The presentation included technical background on the City’s 2021 GHG Emissions Inventory. In their commitment to creating an inclusive and effective Sustainability Plan, Monterey Park has decided to postpone the release of the draft. This will allow them to conduct further outreach and gather valuable input from their community. To watch the meeting, click here. To view the presentation slides, click here.
