In recognition of Mental Health Awareness Month, the City of Monterey Park will host a Mental Health, Healing Arts & Wellness Fair on May 17 at the Barnes Park Gym.

Celebrate Mental Health Awareness month with a free day filled with workshops and creative art activities designed to foster intergenerational healing and connection. Attendees will have the opportunity to engage with local organizations and services focused on emotional well-being, support, and recovery.
At this year’s Mental Health, Healing Arts & Wellness Fair you’ll:
- Meet representatives from community organizations
- Learn how to manage your mental and physical health, help loved ones, and enhance your well-being and happiness
- Take part in free creative arts activities and wellness classes
- Get free health screenings including blood pressure, body mass index, vision, and glucose/cholesterol
- Receive free wellness kits for the first 500 participants

This event is presented in partnership with Asian Youth Center, Asian Pacific Health Corps at UCLA, Chinatown Service Center, and National Asian Pacific American Families Against Substance Abuse (NAPAFASA).
