On November 15, 2025, the Monrovia Fire Department responded to a structure fire in the 500 block of W. Duarte Road. Upon arrival, firefighters encountered visible flames and thick smoke, with both the interior and exterior of the building fully engulfed.

The quick response, supported by mutual aid from the Arcadia Fire Department and Los Angeles County Fire, helped contain the blaze before it could spread further. Fortunately, no injuries were reported among firefighters or civilians.
