On December 9, 2024, at 5:00 pm, the Pasadena City Council held both a Special Meeting and a regularly scheduled City Council meeting.

The meetings took place in the City Council Chambers where Councilmembers Tyron Hampton (District 1), Gene Masuda (District 4), Steve Madison (District 6), and Mayor Victor Gordo were sworn in for another term to the Pasadena City Council.
Outgoing Councilmember Felicia Williams of District 2 was recognized and honored by colleagues, and by local, County and State officials. Rick Cole (District 2) and Justin Jones (District 3), were sworn in as the new Councilmembers for their districts.
Councilmember Jessica Rivas (District 5) was unanimously elected by City Council to be the new Vice Mayor for the City of Pasadena.
A reception with light refreshments followed.
