Tracy Jones began his postal career in 1985 as a letter carrier in Columbiana, Ohio.

In 1991, he transferred to the West Coast to the City of Pasadena as a letter carrier. Throughout his career, he has accepted multiple United States Postal Service positions and awards.
He says:
It’s always been my goal to be the Postmaster of Pasadena, a city with such rich history and strong sense of community.
Jones, along with his wife Tracey and three children, attended a formal installation held at the Garfield and Colorado Blvd Post Office on Feb. 13, 2019.
As Pasadena’s Postmaster, Jones will manage all operations with a total of 129 city routes, delivering to 78,436 addresses and 3,642 Post Office boxes.
