Anton Perez (Photo – PHS)
Anton Perez is the valedictorian for the Pasadena Unified School District Pasadena High School (PHS) graduating class of 2023, and will be attending the Massachusetts Institute of Technology in the fall to study Math and Philosophy.

Perez was accepted to the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), UC Berkeley, UCLA, UC Santa Barbara (College of Creative Studies), UC San Diego, UC Santa Cruz, Cal Poly SLO and Rensselaer Polytechnic.
Anton’s academic focus led him to be a member of the PHS chapter of the National Honor Society and a California Scholarship Federation (CSF) Life Member.
Anton also found the time for several extracurricular activities. He was president of the PHS Astronomy Club, captain of the varsity cross country team and a member of the varsity track team.
He also participated in Caltech’s summer research program and a Caltech astronomy program. Anton is a National Merit Commended Scholar.
Anton will be attending the Massachusetts Institute of Technology in the fall to major in Math and Philosophy.
