Masking and distancing requirements remain in L.A. County. Businesses must complete and implement their safety protocols. They must post these protocols or a copy of their Los Angeles County COVID-19 Compliance Program certificate.
By News Desk
With the majority of L.A. County residents still unvaccinated and more opportunities for intermingling, businesses must continue to adhere to workplace protocols that require infection control, occupancy limits, distancing, masking, and appropriate PPE that protects employees, customers and residents from COVID-19.
Inspectors
L.A. County Public Health Department’s compliance team will continue to visit businesses across the County every day. Inspectors provide education and technical assistance, identify violations, and may issue citations for businesses out of compliance. From May 13 to May 16, only seven citations were issued county-wide to restaurants for noncompliance with Health Officer Orders. Non-compliance and dangerous conditions at businesses can be reported to Public Health by phone at 888-700-9995 or online at publichealth.lacounty.gov. (Tips can be submitted anonymously).
Public Health is connecting businesses and workplaces needing vaccinations for their employees to County mobile units and vaccination partners throughout the community. Employers are encouraged to fill out the COVID-19 Mobile Vaccine Team Interest Form to express interest in having a mobile vaccine unit come out to their business or workplace to provide vaccines to groups of employees. The form can be found on VaccinateLACounty.com.
