Under the direction of Conductor Cliff Yang, the Chorus and Chamber Orchestra will bring to life selections from Samson and Delilah by Camille Saint-Saëns and a concert version of Cavalleria Rusticana by Pietro Mascagni.
Samson and Delilah tells the biblical story of betrayal and sacrifice, featuring powerful choral and orchestral moments. In contrast, Mascagni’s Cavalleria Rusticana transports audiences to the rugged world of Sicilian village life, where love and jealousy erupt in heartbreaking consequence.
Tickets are available for purchase at the Playhouse Box Office on Thursdays from 3:00 to 7:00 p.m., on the day of the performance beginning at 6:30 p.m., or online at ci.ovationtix.com.
