Recently, the Chinese Women’s Business Association of California (CWBA) paid a visit to La Casa Community Center and Preschool in the City of San Gabriel.

La Casa Community Center provides free preschool programs for low-income families, as well as essential items such as food and clothing.
The Chinese Women’s Business Association donated women’s clothing as well as baby bottles, crayons, and other supplies, to La Casa.
During the visit it was revealed the Center is now grappling with financial strains as a result of the pandemic and must now charge partial fees. Chairwoman Lily Xing of the CWBA committed to future donations of supplies as needed, and Vice Chair Lillian Lida pledged fire doors for the building’s renovation.
