Experience a unique glimpse into the intersection of art, film, and history with the Film History Tour of the Fényes Mansion at the Pasadena Museum of History.
By Luca Bonoli
This event offers guests an inside look at one of Pasadena’s most iconic estates and its enduring connection to the silver screen. Led by PMH Curator of History & Exhibitions Julia Long, this tour explores how the Fényes Mansion and its grounds have played a role in filmmaking for over a century. From early silent films by legendary directors like D.W. Griffith to modern day productions.
This program celebrates the vision of Eva Scott Fényes, an early patron of the arts who welcomed filmmakers to her home during the birth of the movie industry. Space for this special event is limited, and advance reservations are required.
