The City of San Gabriel invites residents to kick off the holiday season at its annual Holiday Tree Lighting and “Taste of San Gabriel” celebration on Tuesday, December 2, 2025, from 6:00 pm to 8:30 pm at Plaza Park, 428 S. Mission Drive, San Gabriel, 91776.

This family-friendly evening will feature photos with Santa, live entertainment, and mini train rides for children and families to enjoy. Local favorites, including the San Gabriel Marching Band and Community Services Classes, will provide musical and dance performances throughout the evening.
The highlight of the night, the Tree Lighting Ceremony, will take place at 7:00 pm, followed by a special visit from Santa Claus himself.
Attendees can also savor the return of the popular “Taste of San Gabriel,” where restaurants from across the city will offer free samples of their signature dishes.
Residents are encouraged to bring their families, enjoy the festive atmosphere, and celebrate the spirit of the season in the heart of San Gabriel.
