The good news is Bernie Sanders is coming to Pasadena. The Bad news is that the event is sold out!

Last May, I attended a Bernie Sanders’ rally. It was held at an arena that normally holds 11,000 rabid fans of the local professional soccer team. That day, it held that many rabid Bernie fans.
What struck me was how “presidential” he looked. It wasn’t the backdrop, or the cheering crowds, or the Secret Service agents everywhere. He stood at the podium with a strength and surety that belied his age (74 on his last birthday). His Brooklyn dialect was less pronounced than you’d imagine. He moved like a much younger man.
On November 29, 2016, Bernie will be at a smaller arena.
Presented by Vroman’s, Sanders will discuss his book “Our Revolution” at All Saints Church in Pasadena. As a large crowd is expected at this event, and due to high security, you want to use common sense and leave large bags at home. Tickets were going for $31.61 but alas they sold out fast.
If you were one of the lucky ones who got a ticket, expect long lines but a free copy of the book will also be handed out at the event. The event is a “talk only” as no book signing will be permitted.
But the good news is, Bernie is still coming to Pasadena!
[UPDATE] The event has been moved to ALex Theater in Glendale and the second round of tickets were sold in minutes.
