Pasadena Water and Power (PWP) invites the public to attend an online webinar titled “Shaping PWP’s Energy Future: How Safe, Reliable, and Affordable Power Services Are Provided to You” on Wednesday, March 26, at 6:00 pm.
By News Desk
This community meeting will provide an introduction to a wide range of energy topics, including the formation of PWP, the sources of the City’s power, how power is delivered to customers, and how PWP programs can help save on energy bills. It is the first in a series of power-related meetings planned for 2025.
The meeting will also cover Pasadena’s goal to source 100% of the City’s electricity from carbon-free sources by the end of 2030, while ensuring affordability, rate equity, stability, and reliability.
“Community input is essential to ensuring our electric utility meets the needs of the community we serve, and we are committed to creating opportunities for open dialogue and engagement,” says PWP Interim General Manager, David Reyes. “This event is an opportunity for both residential and commercial PWP customers to gain a foundational understanding of how their local utility operates, how decisions are made, and how they can play a role in shaping their community’s clean energy future.”
