      This Halloween Weekend

      Here’s a comprehensive listing of all the Goblins and the Witches hideouts, plus some tasty specials in the Greater Pasadena area.

      Friday

      – 10:00 am – 8:00 pm: Day of the Dead Tour of Altars

      Take a self-guided tour hosted by participating businesses (@ All over Pasadena).

       

      – 3:30 pm – 7:00 pm: Sierra Madre Annual Halloween Trick or Treat

      City’s sponsored Trick-or-Treating event (not to be confused with the trick-or-treating on Alegria that takes place on Saturday) (@ Sierra Madre’s downtown businesses).

       

      – 5:00 pm – 9:30 pm: Fall Fun Festival & Haunted Zone

      Fall Fun Festival at San Gabriel Mission PlayhouseFestival with trick or treating, carnival games, a costume contest and food (@ San Gabriel Mission Playhouse).

       

      – 6:00 pm – 10:30 pm: RISE of the Jack O’Lanterns

      – 11:00 am – Closing: Halloween Neon Retro Style

      The first Halloween Retro style with cool gifts and contests (@ Neon Retro Arcade).

      – 12:00 pm – 2:00 pm: Halloween Brunch and Dance

      – 5:00 pm – 8:30 pm: Pasadena Fall Festival 2015

      – 5:00 pm – Close: $3 Chipotle Burrito

      Visit any Chipotle on Halloween in costume with your own interpretation of something “unnecessary,” Hat on top of a hat, Superman costume with a mustache, etc. at participating locations (@ Chipotle).

       

      – 5:30 pm – 11:00 pm: Sierra Madre Halloween

      – 5:30 pm – 8:30 pm: Halloweenland

      In anticipation of Star Wars Episode VII, a whole new land comes to Halloweenland (@ Pasadena Foursquare Church).

       

      – 6:00 pm – 9:00 pm: The House on Howard Street

      A safe and fun-scary place for kids and adults alike, on Howard Street, between El Molino and Lake Ave. We won’t give you the address, but you know when you see it, bowahhaha (@ Howard Street).

       

      – 6:00 pm – 9:00 pm: Farnsworth Park Halloween Candy Gveaway

      FarnsworthDavies Auditorium haunted house is cancelled and is replaced by candy and pumpkin crafting (@ Farnsworth Park – Altadena).

       

      – 7:30 pm – 9:00 pm: Halloween Movie @ One Colorado

      Halloween on the big screen with the showing of “Mad Monster Party” (@ One Colorado).

       

      – 7:30 pm – 9:00 pm: Silent Movie Night

      PPC’s screening of the iconic silent-film classic Nosferatu, with Dr. Timothy Howard playing on the church’s massive Aeolian-Skinner pipe organ (@ Pasadena Presbyterian Church).

       

      – 8:00 pm –9:30 pm: The New Sound of Silent Film

      Bassist Tom Peters re-imagines the terrors of this classic silent horror film. New score performed live (@ Boston Court).

       

      – Dusk – 9:00 pm: Madison Heights Fun Block
