Welcome to our International Haiku Poetry Day Celebration Corner. How better to celebrate the earth but to say it in haiku? When I read Paul David Mena’s poem which begins our sequence, I was thoroughly inspired by his corner grocer to create this haiku corner ‘in sync with nature’ as Stevie Strang concludes. We will never stop celebrating the earth with haiku! It is its poetic essence. and we humans in our mystery, dichotomies, and complexity, are part of the behavior of the natural world.
