The Friends of the Pasadena Public Library will hold their Fall Book Sale on Saturday, October 4 from 11:00 am to 2:00 pm on the patio of The Friends Bookstore, 1500 E. Villa St.

The book sale offers a vast array of used books, DVDs, CDs, LPs, and children’s books. Fill a paper grocery bag with books from the patio book sale for $5. Then visit the bookstore, where all bookstore purchases are 50% off.
Proceeds from book sales fund programs at all 10 library branches. Programs such as Summer Reading Club; One City, One Story; Women’s History Month; Black History Month; Latino Heritage Month; Asian American and Pacific Islander Month; Native American Heritage Month; and more.
Founded in 1975, The Friends of the Pasadena Public Library have been active supporters of library programs and services across the community for 50 years supporting the library system’s programs, special services, and cultural events. Priority is given to projects that instill the excitement of discovery and the love of reading in library patrons of all ages. They continue to fund innovative ways to engage readers, advocate for full funding for libraries, and support a love of reading and discovery in 21st century Pasadena.
