At 10:58 p.m. on Sunday, February 9, 2025, the South Pasadena Fire Department (SPFD) responded to reports of a residential structure fire at 296 Camino del Sol.

Upon arrival, fire crews discovered smoke and flames emanating from the attached garage of the home.

An aggressive offensive fire attack was swiftly initiated, and the blaze was quickly brought under control. Fortunately, the fire was confined to the garage area, with only smoke odor affecting the interior of the residence. No injuries were reported.

The SPFD received valuable assistance from both the Pasadena and Alhambra Fire Departments. The cause of the fire is currently under investigation.
