With the Altadena Main Library set to close on February 1 for a major renovation lasting approximately 14 to 18 months, extended hours at nearby branch libraries have been announced to ensure continued access to library services for the community.

The Bob Lucas Memorial Library, located at 2659 Lincoln Ave., will offer expanded daily hours throughout the renovation period:
- Monday through Thursday: 10:00 am to 8:00 pm.
- Friday and Saturday: 10:00 am to 5:00 pm.
- Sunday: 1:00 pm to 5:00 pm.
The Altadena Library at Loma Alta Park, located at 3330 N. Lincoln Ave., will also operate with extended hours:
- Monday through Thursday: 10:00 am to 6:00 pm.
- Friday and Saturday: 10:00 am to 5:00 pm.
These extended branch hours are intended to support library users while the Altadena Main Library remains closed during the renovation period.
