Join cartoon historian Jerry Beck as he presents the works of United Productions of America, the most important animation studio of the 1950s.

Based in L.A., UPA revolutionized the animation world forever with its modern, hyper-stylized graphics, and continues to maintain a powerful influence on contemporary motion design. The screening will include a selection of cartoons rarely seen in public.

This event is absolutely FREE and open to the public!

Presented by Michael Dooley’s “Design History of Comics & Animation” class
      Location
LA Times Media Center, Hillside Campus
