“How to Know a Person: The Art of Seeing Others Deeply and Being Deeply Seen”, by David Brooks (Photo – Graphics Dept.)

After a lively and ‘meaningful conversation’ at the June Book Club meeting, discussing the book How to Know a Person: The Art of Seeing Others Deeply and Being Deeply Seen, by David Brooks, it was decided that a second meeting was needed for such an important subject.

The next meeting will be held on Wednesday, August 7 at 7:00 pm. If getting to know others on a deeper level and finding empathy is something you’re interested in, please join. It is not necessary to have attended the first meeting to participate.

How to Know a Person: The Art of Seeing Others Deeply and Being Deeply Seen, by David Brooks, provides insight and tools to help us see and understand each other on a deeper level than is often the case when meeting others. Perhaps by truly understanding and finding empathy for others, we can move toward a kinder, gentler world from one that so often operates through a lens of judgment and misunderstandings.

Limited spots available. Reserve your spot now to join this elevated conversation.
