      girls working in STEMThis year’s STEM Savvy: Girls’ Science Day for Middle School Girls, takes place on Sat. morning, March 23 from 9:00 am – noon, at Pasadena City College.

      The STEM Savvy event is an over 20-year tradition of PCC and AAUW to spark girls’ interest in STEM studies.

      The FREE event features fun, hands-on, STEM activities with small groups of chaperoned middle school girls paired with women in STEM careers and college women in STEM majors. Come and spend a morning with other girls having fun in activities like Germ Theory, Astronomy, Nanotechnology, Automotive Technology, Genetics, Chemistry, Neurobiology, Computer Science and more. Register students at stemsavvy.eventbrite.com.
