STEM Savvy: Girls’ Science Day at PCC

This year’s STEM Savvy: Girls’ Science Day for Middle School Girls, an over 25-year tradition of PCC and AAUW to spark girls’ interest in STEM studies, will take place on May 3.

The free event is full of fun, hands-on, STEM activities with small groups of chaperoned middle school girls paired with women in STEM careers and college women in STEM majors. Activities include astrophysics, bio-engineering, physiology, robotics, astronomy and telescopes, creative chemistry, DNA exploration, computer science, engineering, and more.
