      Kicking off the International Food Workers Week in Southern California, the Food Chain Workers Alliance is hosting a special screening of “Food Chains.”

      • They’ll be joined by Lupe Gonzalo, a worker leader of the Coalition of Immokalee Workers, which is featured in the documentary.
      • A short panel will follow that includes Lupe Gonzalo, a worker leader of the CIW; LA Kitchen; OUR Walmart; the Restaurant Opportunities Center of Los Angeles; and Warehouse Worker Resource Center
      • There will be a release of the new comic book “Food Chain Avengers” about everyday food worker heroes, by the Food Chain Workers Alliance.
