Learning to Garden with Native Plants with Barbara Eisenstein.

Barbara Eisenstein, founder of the Friends of South Pasadena Nature Park and author of Wild Suburbia – Learning to Garden with Native Plants, will join discuss the beauty and benefits of gardening with native plants.

This lecture, intended for seasoned gardeners and novices alike, will inform attendees about how to cultivate and nurture a vibrant, low-maintenance habitat garden that supports local wildlife and fosters biodiversity. A representative from the City of South Pasadena’s Natural Resources and Environmental Commission will be present to answer questions about local environmental programs and City rebates.
