Silent Sundays at San Gabriel Mission Playhouse continue with Buster Keaton’s Go West.

Keaton plays ‘Friendless’, a young man from Indiana who is down on his luck and decides to travel West for a fresh start. He ends up in the middle of the desert, working on a ranch where most are not kind. He does however, make a four-legged friend, a sweet cow named Brown Eyes. When she is in trouble, he does everything he can to come to her rescue. With an ending that includes cattle running loose in Downtown LA, you’ll enjoy this story that highlights the unbreakable bond between Buster and his beloved friend, Brown Eyes.

Accompanying the film on a Mighty Wurlitzer theater pipe organ is Mark Herman. An American Theatre Organ Society Organist of the Year, Mr. Herman tours throughout the country and has performed abroad in Australia, New Zealand, Switzerland, and the United Kingdom.

Tickets are $12. There are two ways to purchase tickets:

      • In person – Visit the Playhouse Box Office Thursdays from 3:00 pm – 7:00 pm or day of show starting at 1:30 pm.
      • Online – Visit this website and click the ‘Buy Tickets’ button.
