Geek Pride Day is celebrated each year on May 25! The date was chosen because its the date that the movie Star Wars was released.

Let’s face it, we all are geeks in our own way and we all have things that we “GEEK OUT” on.  Perhaps you geek out on reading or science or solving mathematical equations.  One thing is for sure, there are millions of us out there that GEEOUT OUT on running, jogging and/or walking.  So it’s time to GET YOUR GEEK ON and celebrate Geek Day by completing a virtual 5K.

      What:

This is a 5K virtual run (or walk) to celebrate the GEEK in all of us.

      When:

Complete your race any time in May 2015.  If you can do it on May 25 (the actual Geek Pride Day) that would be even better!

      Where:

You choose the course and you time yourself.

      Why:

Because this is our way of celebrating Geek Pride Day.
