      The New Jet Set

Matt Johnson & the New Jet Set Swingin’ the Disney Songbook delivers beloved hits from timeless Disney animated films in a retro-cool jazz style in three performances at Sierra Madre Playhouse.

With evening, morning and matinee performances to choose from, it’s the perfect show for a date night, family outing, or relaxing afternoon: Saturday, March 23, 11:00 am (special family show); and Sunday, March 24, 2024, 2:00 pm.

Featuring noted vocalist Adryon de León, the band, performs hits from such films as 101 Dalmatians, Aladdin, Alice in Wonderland, Aristocats, Beauty and the Beast, Cinderella, Coco, Dumbo, Jungle Book, Lady and the Tramp, Lion King, The Little Mermaid, Peter Pan, Pinocchio, Pocahontas, Sleeping Beauty, Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, Toy Story, and Winnie the Pooh.

This enchanting and nostalgic musical adventure through the decades is enhanced by memorable visuals. Johnson, an acclaimed drummer and the show’s amiable host, provides a fascinating behind-the-scenes look into the unforgettable songs that have become the heart and soul of classic Disney movies. The band also features Chris Barron, piano, David Miller, bass, and Miles Jensen, guitar. Sierra Madre Playhouse is located at 87 West Sierra Madre Boulevard, Sierra Madre, CA 91024. For tickets ($12, $25, $35) and information, please call (626) 355-4318 or visit .sierramadreplayhouse.org.
