Ready to put that new (or dusty) guitar to good use in making music? This lesson will get you started with the fundamentals.
Altadena Libraries presents a free community guitar lesson! This group guitar lesson is led by local musician and educator, Marc Levinthal. You will learn about tuning your instrument, playing notes, and forming chord shapes. Bring your own instrument – a very limited number is available to share.

About the Instructor
Marc Levinthal is a guitar instructor with over 30 years of experience as a musician, producer, film composer, and songwriter. After attending Berklee College of Music, he played in numerous groups and co-wrote the score for the cult movie “Valley Girl” and the hit single “Three Little Pigs” for the comedy metal group Green Jello.
