      Free mulchFree Mulch Giveaway program at Robinson Park* and Victory Park.

      New loads of mulch will be delivered to both parks and available to residents during park hours while supplies last. Residents should bring shovels, containers, gloves and eye protection to collect the mulch.

      *Dates and availability subject to change.

      Mulch Benefits:

      1. Moderates the soil temperature and retains moisture during dry weather, reducing the need for watering.
      2. Prevents germination of many weed seeds & reduces need for herbicides.
      3. Protects the soil from the impact of raindrops that can cause crusting and prevents the germination of seedlings.

      *Mulch pick-up in in the park’s southern parking lot.
