Active Streets: Mission-to-Mission (Photo – ActiveSGV)
Celebrate safe, active streets and a more walkable community during Active Streets: Mission at Twilight.
Enjoy a magical evening of active fun under the stars while celebrating the summer solstice on Sunday, June 22, 2025 from 3:00 pm to 8:00 pm. This 5-mile open streets event, hosted by SGVCOG and presented by Metro, will transform the streets of Alhambra, San Gabriel, and South Pasadena into a vibrant public playground for walking, biking, skating, and more.
Participants can choose to run “Gabe’s Fastest Mile” during the event. This blazing-fast, chip-timed mile race kicks off promptly at 2:30 pm on a flat course near the San Gabriel Mission, offering a fantastic opportunity to test your limits and enjoy Mission at Twilight as part of the larger car-free celebration. Participants have the chance to earn a finisher medal and a guaranteed t-shirt. To register, click here.
