Kathy Uyen Nguyen
Kathy Uyen Nguyen (kris young/kondo) lives and teaches yoga
in the Gulf Coastal region of Texas, USA. She finds rhythm in breath, pain, health, and nature. This week’s inspired tanka “black lines” was a response to what she called the “too gorgeous” image by kris moon”.

kris moon
kris moon (kris young/kondo) was born and lived in the US until 1972 when she boarded a ship for Japan because of her fascination with that country, its art and literature. She lives in Japan, by a river in a village in the Tanzawa Mountains. She recently visited Southern CA and led three “renku” sessions with Pasadena poets. Renku is a form of collaborative haiku poetry.
