Despite the overhead clouds, cars and trucks designed by alumni and faculty of ArtCenter still shined on September 28 at the 2025 ArtCenter Design Invitational, held at the north campus.

Stories were shared not only about the fifty gathered, polished, and admired vehicles, but since the Invitational coincided with a three-day alumni reunion, the first in eight years, there was plenty of hobnobbing as well.
The cars, both vintage and contemporary, remained the main topic of conversation. Each vehicle had a design connection to an ArtCenter graduate.
Among those featured in the center of the Sculpture Garden were a 1964 Lincoln Continental and a 1966 Oldsmobile Toronado, each accompanied by a bit of personal history.
There was star power too, such as an Acura NSX used in one of the Marvel’s Avengers film.
In the nearly full parking lot, plenty of admirers gathered, many arriving in cars that nearly matched the shine and design of those on display inside the ArtCenter grounds.
