This Sunday, June 1, the communities of Altadena and Pasadena will come together for DENA Rise Up, a community march and rally calling for a just and inclusive recovery in the aftermath of the devastating Eaton Fire.

Festivities begin at 3:00 pm at Fair Oaks Burgers (2560 N Fair Oaks Ave), featuring live music, food, and community resources. The event will culminate in a rally at 5:30 pm, bringing residents together under a united call for change.

Organizers stress that while the fire has passed, the fight for fairness is just beginning. The event calls for a safe, equitable, and inclusive approach to reconstruction and restoration.

DENA Rise Up also aims to spotlight growing concerns around development, equity, and representation throughout the region.
