To celebrate his partnership with Pasadena Humane, Colton Herta, driver for the Andretti INDYCAR Racing Team, will make a special appearance at the shelter on Wednesday, April 9, from 2:30 pm to 3:30 pm. The visit aims to raise awareness for pet adoption and support animals affected by the recent wildfires in the Los Angeles area.

A passionate advocate for animal welfare, Herta has collaborated with Pasadena Humane to design a limited-edition dog bandana. All proceeds from the sale of these bandanas will go directly to the shelter, with a fundraising goal of $5,000. This initiative is part of Herta’s ongoing commitment to animal welfare.
In addition to the dog bandana campaign, Herta’s #26 INDYCAR will feature the Pasadena Humane logo on its rear wing and inside the halo during this weekend’s ACURA Grand Prix of Long Beach. The car will also proudly display the names of Herta’s own rescue dogs, Henry and Sandi, on its side pods. As an added personal touch, Herta’s custom race helmet will showcase portraits of both dogs, underscoring his personal dedication to animal advocacy.
