The City of Pasadena Rent Stabilization Department is hosting an educational session designed for both tenants and landlords. The training, which will take place via Zoom on Wednesday, October 23, from 4:30 pm to 6:30 pm, is free and open to the public.
By News Desk
The session will feature two key presentations:
- Tenant Landlord Law Training facilitated by the Los Angeles County Department of Consumer and Business Affairs, and
- Pasadena Rent Stabilization 101 Basics, presented by Helen Morales, the Director of Pasadena’s Rent Stabilization Department.
This training aims to provide attendees with essential knowledge of local rental laws, including the petition process, legal rent increases, and other critical aspects of the Rent Stabilization Ordinance. While the session is designed to inform participants and does not substitute for professional legal advice, it offers valuable free guidance from experts to help tenants and landlords navigate their rights and responsibilities. Attendees can look forward to insights from both the LA County Department of Consumer and Business Affairs and Pasadena’s Rent Stabilization Director, covering the latest rental regulations.
The training will be delivered online via Zoom, and Spanish language interpretation will be available online. Join the training at Bit.ly/PasadenaRentalLawBasics. For more information, visit the Rent Stabilization Department’s website or via email at RentStabilization@CityofPasadena.net.
