After four years of unwavering dedication and academic rigor, Christine Xu has been named the Valedictorian of the South Pasadena High School Class of 2025.

Among a class of highly driven and academically accomplished students, Xu stood out for her exceptional performance and intellectual commitment.
Throughout her high school career, Christine enrolled in more than a dozen Advanced Placement (AP) courses, consistently challenging herself in some of the school’s most demanding classes. Her academic record is a testament not only to her discipline and intellect but also to the high standards and spirit of perseverance that define the student body at South Pasadena High.
“Christine’s achievement is not only a personal milestone, but also a reflection of the exceptional academic environment we foster here,” Principal John Eldred said. “She has shown that through hard work and the willingness to challenge oneself, students can reach extraordinary heights.”
As Christine Xu moves on to the next stage of her academic journey, she leaves a strong record of achievement and a lasting example for future students.
