The Caltech History & Architectural Tour Service will take you on a tour of the north campus with a focus on its modern buildings.

The tour will be of building exteriors only, guided by knowledgeable and experienced CHATS docents. Total distance is approximately 1.5 miles. Participants are advised to wear comfortable walking shoes, apply sunblock, and bring a hat. Carrying water and a small snack is also recommended to stay hydrated and energized throughout the walk.
Walking, biking, or using public transit is encouraged for all Walktober events. Transit options can be found on the Pasadena Transit and Metro websites, while Google Maps provides helpful walking and biking directions.
City-installed bike racks are located near the starting point. Street parking is available nearby; make sure to observe posted restrictions and payment requirements. Free parking is offered across the street (341 S. Wilson Ave.) in a Caltech parking structure, with unreserved spaces open on Saturdays without a permit.
