Familiar Names are on the prestigious Wall Street Journal/Times Higher Education 2022 College Rankings.

Once again, California Institute of Technology (Caltech) is in seventh place in the Wall Street Journal/Times Higher Education College Rankings; Harvard, Stanford and MIT, respectively, took the top three spots.
Schools with spending power were more able to manage pandemic fallout. The annual rankings, released online Sept. 21 and in print September22, evaluate schools based on 15 factors, in four key areas: 40% student outcomes (including graduate salaries and debt), 30% academic resources (including investment in teaching), 20% student engagement (including whether students feel prepared for post-graduation, and 10% learning environment and student/staff diversity.
Caltech ranked first for academic resources and eighth for student outcomes.
