ELECTION 2024
Brandon D. Lamar announced on June 14, 2023 that he will seek election to continue to represent District 3 on the Pasadena City Council.

Brandon has been involved in Pasadena since his youth, being a part of Pasadena’s own programs such as Pasadena Youth Ambassadors and Pasadena Youth Council. He was Vice Chair of the Pasadena Rental Housing Board, and Member of the Steering Committee for Measure H, and in 2022 was appointed to serve on the City Council.
In a statement sent to ColoradoBoulevard.net, Brandon said:
I had zero interest in getting involved in politics, but I quickly discovered that the people making the big decisions had no idea what the average resident in our neighborhoods was going through. That’s why I’m now running to represent District 3 on the Pasadena City Council.”
His campaign website, brandonforpasadena.com, was registered on October 6, 2021. Brandon ran for Pasadena City Council in November of 2021. In September 2022, the Pasadena City Council selected Justin Jones as the Pasadena District 3 replacement for Councilman John J. Kennedy, who had died in July.
District 3 is currently represented by Councilmember Justin Jones. The election will take place on March 5, 2024.
